Amherst Recreation will be continuing to run all operations of the 2026 Youth Lacrosse Season, including the management of registrations and scheduling. The seasons will start on April 1st (except Mini-mites) and run to late May or early June. Programs will be offered at multiple levels:
MiniMites - Boys & Girls aged 8 and under | ~Pre-K to Grade 2
Bantams - Aged 10 and under) | ~Grades 3 and 4
Juniors - Aged 12 and under) | ~Grades 5 and 6
Seniors - Aged 14 and under | ~Grades 7 and 8
Please note there is no Girls Seniors team. Girls in grade 7 and 8 who are in the Amherst Regional Middle School are eligible to play for the Junior Varsity team.
Practices: All programs will practice two times per week. Practice days will be determined by Amherst Rec in March.
Games: Teams will have home and away games throughout the Valley. Game schedules are determined by the league.
Coaches Needed: Volunteer coaches are needed; training will be provided.

Please consider being a coach! There are head coaching and assistant coaching opportunities available at all levels. An extra adult on the sideline makes for a better experience for our youth.
